I don't blame you at all, I go out of my way to be nice to everyone (or at least try to). Here's the thing though, I know for a fact that theres people on dA that use artists like us.

Requests and things like that, they just leech off of us, they aren't interested they just request their art and then they're off, if they don't get it they get pissy. I'd pay no heed to them, doing a request is doing THEM a favor not the other way around.

So, I understand your anger and frustration, i'd just remove the people who asked from your request list, seems like a fitting punishment.

I think that drawing for others is silly. That's just work, but without the payment! The only requests I do are those I pick up at AVGDID, but I *choose* them carefully.

Try not to be too upset, Kaozkaoz. It's very, very normal for people to take advantage of someone's art and good will. The day I got my first request, I was very excited because I thought 'Hey! Maybe my art isn't so bad anymore.' but if you just take requests from random people, you'll tire yourself out, even though it's a kind thing to do.

Not everyone is as kind as you. It's a sad truth! Don't stop your hobby because a few people were ungrateful, though; because I'm sure at least some of us were grateful, and that many of us enjoy your art. Just draw at your own pace, and just what you want to draw, save for maybe a few people you're very friendly with.

Just take a break for awhile. I also don't think you should finish some of your requests, unless there's some you actually want to finish. I understand you may not like going back on your word, but if you're as angry or upset as you sound, you might not put your normal amount of effort into the picture anyways; and you may just become more upset. At the very least, maybe you should wait awhile.

Just take it easy for a while, things will look up!

Also, take it from me. I request a lot. Difference between me and others is, I do it right. I'm asking for something for free, so I can't complain, after all.

Don't be discouraged from drawing entirely because people keep badgering you for requests. Just draw what you want to draw, if you feel like doing requests then do requests, if you feel like working on your own projects, then work on your own projects. If people start being mean to you, just ignore them. Hope you feel better soon.
